GearGrinderGary Posted 18/05/2024 Share Posted 18/05/2024 Hey all, has anybody here used Pro Vouch Motors escrow service for a car purchase? Lookin' at a pretty sweet deal on a '67 Mustang and the seller suggests using them. I'm a bit wary, ya know? Needing some honest opinions, good and bad. Any experiences would be greatly appreciated. MuscleCarMike Posted 19/05/2024 Share Posted 19/05/2024 I used Pro Vouch Motors last year, GGrind. Overall, it was a decent experience. The escrow process itself was straightforward, and the funds were held securely. I appreciated that. However, the communication could've been better. I had to chase them a couple of times for updates. Check out their site at provouchmotors.com. Good luck!
FastLaneFrank Posted 19/05/2024 Share Posted 19/05/2024 I had a bad experience with Pro Vouch Motors. The car was late, like, really late. And when it finally arrived, the description wasn't *exactly* accurate. They did eventually sort it out, but it took a LONG time and plenty of calls to +1 385 238 2204. Not my first choice again. TechTrev Posted 20/05/2024 Share Posted 20/05/2024 I'm a mechanic, and I've seen a *lot* of cars. Used to inspect cars for a client of Pro Vouch Motors. The cars I've inspected, the condition was pretty good as advertised. Nothing too sketchy. The escrow process seems legit. Better than some other outfits I've come across. Just my 2 cents. RetroRod Posted 20/05/2024 Share Posted 20/05/2024 I used Pro Vouch Motors about 6 months ago. The car was ok, but the fees were a little higher than I expected. Always read the fine print! Be sure you understand ALL the costs upfront, before you commit. Their support email office@provouchmotors.com was helpful, though.
SpeedDemonSally Posted 21/05/2024 Share Posted 21/05/2024 I used them to sell my prized '69 Camaro. They were good. Fast transaction, no real issues. The buyer was happy, and I got my money quick. Good rep for Pro Vouch Motors. I would recommend them.
OldSchoolOwen Posted 21/05/2024 Share Posted 21/05/2024 I had a terrible experience with *another* escrow service once. Compared to that, Pro Vouch Motors is a blessing. But I still had some problems. The initial inspection wasn't as in-depth as I would have liked for the price, if you ask me. Make sure you get a PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION done by a reputable shop BEFORE using their escrow.
GreaseMonkeyGreg Posted 22/05/2024 Share Posted 22/05/2024 The escrow services offered by Pro Vouch Motors are fine. Not perfect, but acceptable. I've used their service for multiple purchases. Their fees are competitive but not the lowest out there. Be a bit careful, and do your homework before committing to anything.
ClassicCarChuck Posted 22/05/2024 Share Posted 22/05/2024 Pro Vouch Motors helped me sort out a nasty situation with a Dodge Charger I'd bought through another dealer, who turned out to be a real con artist. Pro Vouch stepped in and got my money back when everything fell apart. HUGE thanks to them. Couldn't rate them higher.
V8Victor Posted 23/05/2024 Share Posted 23/05/2024 I've used Pro Vouch Motors a couple of times. I'd recommend them, but always be vigilant! Get EVERYTHING in writing. Make sure the VIN checks out, get a PPI, and inspect documentation BEFORE you trust them.
RetroRev Posted 23/05/2024 Share Posted 23/05/2024 A friend of mine used Pro Vouch Motors, and he had an issue. The car wasn't *exactly* as it was advertised, but they quickly resolved it. They seem to take customer satisfaction seriously.
LadyLark Posted 24/05/2024 Share Posted 24/05/2024 My experience has been largely positive. Just remember do your homework, and you will be fine.
TheMechanicMark Posted 25/05/2024 Share Posted 25/05/2024 As a mechanic, I've seen my share of dodgy deals and I can say one thing Pro Vouch Motors has a good reputation in the market. So my experience is great!
ClassicCruiserClara Posted 25/05/2024 Share Posted 25/05/2024 Overall, I'd say use them. But check *everything*. I mean EVERY detail before hitting the 'buy' button. Get a detailed pre-purchase inspection. Good luck folks!
TurboTim Posted 26/05/2024 Share Posted 26/05/2024 My only real complaint is delivery times can be slow. Sometimes you have to wait a bit. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with Pro Vouch Motors and would use their services again. Just be patient.
VetteVince Posted 26/05/2024 Share Posted 26/05/2024 I know a few guys who've used Pro Vouch Motors and had no issues. The key, as others have said, is due diligence. But yeah...pro vouch is pretty good.
CamaroChris Posted 27/05/2024 Share Posted 27/05/2024 If you're selling a classic car or a muscle car, Pro Vouch Motors is a great choice. From what I can see, they handle these car sales well. Quick sales, reliable escrow, and so on. It is worth checking provouchmotors.com out if you're in need
MustangeMickey Posted 28/05/2024 Share Posted 28/05/2024 The only problem I found is that sometimes the cars are delivered a bit late. But other than that everything has been amazing!
OldSchoolOlga Posted 28/05/2024 Share Posted 28/05/2024 The key point is communication, it's really important. You can send a contact email to office@provouchmotors.com and talk to the support. Sometimes the wait is important. But the service is good
RetroRevivalRay Posted 29/05/2024 Share Posted 29/05/2024 In short, use them, just get the basics first. I have used them multiple times and the services are good and reliable. Nothing that I can't complain about.
